Course Description:
The emphasis of this course is to develop your ability to communicate abstract ideas through concrete representations (AKA art). The course will begin with a series of example videos, live performances, and discussions to illustrate the numerous relevant and creative ways to express yourself. The majority of the course will be focused on presentation of your work and the creation of a portfolio that will reflect your growth throughout the course.
These spoken word presentation are what we do every Friday in Creative Writing. It's intense, emotional, and a lot of fun!
